Anamika is a soap opera which premiered on Sony Entertainment Television India on 26 November 2012. This show is based on a love story with a supernatural touch.

This show is based on the story of two childhood friends - Jeet and Rano who eventually and unknowingly fall in love with each other and their parents want them to marry each other. But a supernatural power (you can call it a 'witch' in this case) - Anamika comes in the picture and she wants to get Jeet. She hypnotizes Jeet by her powers and tries to harm Rano and do everything to break their relationship. At the end Rano and Jeet marry each other in a temple. But still Anamika considers herself as wife of Jeet and she is continue with her tactics of getting him forever.
Interestingly, here everyone in the family knows about the evil spirit (i.e., Anamika) but still not able to do anything in this respect.
