Future of India lies in Schools
People say that Children being India's future gets into the right shape in our schools. School being the prime place for a child’s moral, social, cultural and even political development, actually plays an entirely difficult role in framing, modifying and then garnishing a child.
I have studied in a public school for all the years of my schooling days. And hence, I’ve never known the conditions under which a government school functions. So here I am in a government school but not as a student but as a teacher. It’s challenging being on the other side and sometimes pathetic too. I am experiencing life like a layman here and counting on all the experiences. Some of these experiences make me satisfied and some heat up my mind like hell. Of course nothing can be perfect but downgrading of schools is not acceptable to me and it should not be to anyone.
What will happen to our system if we don’t get water to drink at the place where we spend half of our day? Forget about drinking water, they don’t have water at all. And it seems that teachers and students have adapted themselves into this kind of situation as obviously, no option. Don’t you think this will affect the metabolism of human body and may lead them to severe diseases? We want HELP there!
List is really endless. What do you think about 100 students in each section? How difficult it becomes for a teacher to control, impart knowledge and take care of all of them! They sit on broken benches because it takes I don’t know how many months for government to sanction that infrastructure. Even some of them have to stand at the back for shortage of benches.
I'll be up with more info and analysis soon. This is the best part of the school I am into, the Science lab. At least it has all the apparatus but to tell you the truth, everything is locked up and not be used by students under any supervision.
Whatever the situation is prevailing now, we’ve to fight back anyway. It can be improved of course but needs a lot of painstaking work and administrative effort.
