Arhaan Behl and Manasi Srivastav have been roped in to play the lead role. Arhaan Behal was last seen in Star Plus’s serial Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya as Krishna and the vivacious Manasi was last seen as Heer in Rab Se Sona Ishq.
According to sources, Arhaan Behl, Manasi Srivastav, Shubhangi Latkar, Aksshat Gupta Rucha Gujrathi, Perneet Chauhan, Poonam Preet and veteran Bollywood actor Alok nath are the confirmed cast for the show.
Arhaan Behl was attracted by the simplicity of his character Raghu. He is an average lower-middle class guy. He doesn’t possess any hero-like qualities. Raghu is stong (but not aggressive, loyal, hard working and very down-to-earth man.
Poonam Preet, being done several advertisements she is very much looking forward to do some impact making characters. After being auditioned and selected to play Maya, sister-in-law of Raghu ( Arhaan Behl). She will be paired-up with Ravi Bhatia, the younger brother of Raghu. She is will be presenting herself on screen with different shades and changing attitude that reflect several qualities of her.
Rucha Gujarati is all set to play a negative character in the show. Here, she will play the role of Mahima. She is the lead protagonist Shivani’s (enacted by Mansi Srivastav) bhabi (sister-in-law). She will be seen opposite Vikas Sethi (Jaswant Rana) and together, they will be the main negative leads in the show. (But, there's nothing new about it. There are a number of daily soaps which have a bhaiya-bhabhi villain angle)
The show is another offering from the makers of the popular Colors TV serial Uttaran viz. Pintoo Guha and Roopali Guha.
The show that will make an interesting watch is expected to go on air by the end of this month only on Zee TV.
