Results of JEE (main) declared on 7th of may 2013, i.e., today. Lakhs of engineering aspirants appeared in the first Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
The JEE (main) has replaced the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) this year.
The scores of the test, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, will determine admission to centrally-funded institutions like the National Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology and some deemed universities including Sastra University.

Students can check their results by clicking CBSE website cbseresults.nic.in/jee/jee_cbse_2013.htm and by entering their roll number and date of birth in the boxes provided.
This year, a student's Class12 board marks will carry 40% weightage and JEE scores will carry 60% weightage for admissions. The top 1.5 lakh scorers will be eligible for the JEE (Advanced) test, scores in which will determine admission to the 13 IITs and the Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad.
