Several ardent fans of Barun Sobti and his serial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon have bombarded actors, producers and distributors about the film and it's supposed controversy surrounding its distributors and release.
Some extreme fans have sent thousands of hate mail to the female lead, director, and distributors for "snatching" Barun from his serial and therefore holding some responsibility for Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?'s controversial and abrupt ending. I have witnessed this phase as even I am in the list of Barun Sobti's die hard fan and never wanted his Television venture to end. Anyway, watching a star on silver screen in itself will be a big moment and fans are excited for the movie.
