Woman sexually assaulted Raped by tantrik for six months. A tantrik sexually assaulted a married woman for six months on the pretext of exorcising a spirit that possessed her. The accused also made obscene video clips and used them to blackmail her.
According to SHO Subhash Bijraniya of JNV police station, the police have registered a complaint following a court order.According to the complaint, the woman was not keeping well since November 2012. After repeated bouts of illness, she approached her uncle Ola Ram, a resident of Shiv Bari area who took her to tantric Chunni Lal Mali.Chunni Lal reportedly told the victim that a spirit has possessed her and suggested that she along with her uncle must accompany him to Pushkar where he will exorcise the spirit.
Accordingly, the woman, her uncle and the tantrik went to Pushkar in a private vehicle.At Pushkar, they stayed at a dharmashala. The tantrik sent the victim's uncle and the car driver to bring food and sexually assaulted the woman. The victim alleged that the tantrik made obscene video clips and used them to blackmail her.He threatened to leak the videos if she refused to sexually oblige him.
SHO Bijraniya said the victim has filed a complaint against Chunni Lal Mali and her uncle Ola Ram in the court of ACJM, Bikaner which has been received at the police station on Friday. Accordingly, a case has been registered against the tantrik under Sections 363, 366, 376 and 120 (B) of IPC.The accused tantrik is absconding. The victim's statement has been recorded and medical examination conducted. The police have also recorded the statement of the victim's uncle and the driver of the private vehicle.Police will also visit the dharamshala at Pushkar for further investigation. source
