Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

This is a story of a girl Akshara who like every other girl dreams of his prince charming but knows very well that she is destined to arrange marriage anyhow. And eventually she is married to a handsome hunk Naitik who by all means is a suitable match for akshara.

Then starts Akshara's struggle of maintaining a balance between her family and husband.
Their life witnesses many ups and downs and they successfully manage to get through all.

Recent progress of the story: Naitik went into coma and story took a leap showing 7 years old son of Naitik and Akshara Naksh. And now Naitik is out of his unconscious state and the story is about his struggle of creating a space in his own son's heart and regaining his earlier position and trust in every family members' mind.

The first episode telecast of the show was in 2009. The success of the show is very much visible in its running span. It is getting a good TRP from last 4 years (approximately).

It would be interesting to see if any other show replaces it in near future!
