talaash movie review

talaash movie review
After Watching the first day first show of Aamir khan starrer "Talaash".
The film to begin with is not a psychological thriller as it claimed. It is a ghost film with ample amount of suspense.

The film starts with the song-"Muskaane Jooti hain" and gives you a visual treat of the unexplored dark part of the society. The film is fast paced with the incidents craftily arranged one after the other. However, somewhere it looses the charisma and moves with an eerie motion. The film focuses on a car accident but it later shifts to Aamir's life and a tragic incident which took place and changed his life forever. His acting as always is up to the mark.Rani adds to the story as Aamir's estranged wife.Kareena's role is up for surprises, yes she plays a prostitute and a ghost too-eh,a friendly one.The villain is obnoxious played some actor. The film from a suspense thriller gives you a rude shock by transforming its genre to a ghost revenge film. You might find striking similarities with the main storyline to ghost films made in the past.
Music is above average.Sounds good.
One question remains unanswered-Sanjay(one of the villain confesses that he did not kill Sashi,a pimp who blackmailed him for money. While in one the previous scenes Sashi's murder is shown in a fair.A man with a mustache snipes him down-I thought it was Aamir..but at the end we get no answer.
I would rate the film 2 stars out 5 stars.
