Beintehaa is an Indian television soap opera. The show launched on December 30, 2013. It airs on Colors TV and stars Preetika Rao, Harshad Arora, Naved Aslam, Rituraj Singh.
Beintehaa is basically the love story of Zain Abdullah and Aaliya Ghulam Haider (who is now Aaliya Zain Abdullah according to the current track). Zain is a rich, so called, spoilt brat of Abdullah family whereas Aaliya is a down to earth girl and a strong pillar of her lower middle class family.
Zain is totally opposite to Aaliya like its shown in almost all daily dramas to make the storyline more interesting, like it has always been shown in tv series about conflict between a "bigdaa raeeszada" and a "bholi" ladki with great moral values when accidentally they get married. Currently Zain and Aaliya are a married couple who got tied due to their parents and wanted to get out of that "mess" as soon as possible. But now things have gone the other way round when the two have started falling for each other.
Between all these things we saw the entry of Barkat (Dimple Jhangiani), Zain's sister who got separated from them in their childhood, but as expected she turns out to be a negative character (not Barkat) who's there just to exploit Abdullah family's love for money.
The story is set on a Muslim background on the landscape of earthy Bhopal and the buzz of Mumbai.
Preetika Rao, Amrita Rao's sister has made her debut from this TV show with a very talented new comer Harshad Arora.
Beintehaa is a saga of finding your soul mate in the unlikeliest of places and learning to cherish the elusive emotion of love.
